Practical Techniques for Managing Time and Handling Stress

In the hectic pace of life and work, each of us daily faces issues of "time poverty," work schedules so intense that we feel more stressed and less productive. The harder we work, the less we seem to accomplish. The more stressed we are, the less we believe we can control that stress. The fact is, however, that time can work for you and stress can be managed. These are learnable skills.

This one-day workshop is designed to give you techniques for managing priorities and projects while keeping your stress level under control.

In this interactive workshop, you will:

  • Understand your own attitudes toward time.
  • Distinguish between what is urgent and what is important.
  • Discover the interrelationship between time and stress.
  • Explore the Four-Step Model for personal productivity management.
  • Learn tips for handling the telephone and other interruptions.
  • Read your personal "stress thermometer" using the Stress Resiliency Profile™.
  • Learn techniques for increasing your stress resiliency.
  • Master the art of enlisting the support of others.
  • Make more time for you, even while increasing productivity.

This course is based on solid research in communication theory and practice, and involves each participant in an interactive "hands-on" learning experience.

The fee for CEI's one-day Personal Productivity Workshop is $3,950, plus the cost of any copyrighted instruments used, for up to 20 participants. Additional participants beyond 20 are $100 each.
