Myers-Briggs Type Indicator™ Seminar
<< back

Executives and professionals know that they can get the most from themselves and those they work with when they understand each other's communication and management styles—their strengths and their weaknesses.

At Communication Excellence Institute, we have developed a seminar featuring the Myers-Brigges Type Indicator™ as a powerful tool for helping participants gain insight into how they use information and relate to others. Our licensed MBTI facilitators guide seminar members to understand the four-letter type designation and how this impacts their basic patterns of task and relationship activity.

In this workshop, participants learn to:

  • Identify their reliance on extraverted and introverted behavior patterns.
  • Determine their ability to see the "big picture" and handle detail effectively.
  • Understand the reactions of others to them in interpersonal situations.
  • Appreciate the value of diverse styles in the workplace.
  • Solve problems more effectively based on their type.
  • "Read" others and adjust communication appropriately.
  • Function better in team situations by understanding the role each type plays.

All participants receive a graphic report form showing their preferences, a narrative sheet describing their types, and an extensive debriefing on the impact of their types in the workplace.

Participants in this seminar remark that the material was presented in depth and in a highly interesting and entertaining way. Comments center on how much teamwork was improved by understanding each other's Myers-Briggs types.

Our clients can measure the success of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator™ in the workplace in terms of personal insight and development, improved interpersonal relationships, and increased task performance based on putting the "right type" doing the right job.

The fee for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator™ Seminar is $3,950, plus the cost of the Myers-Briggs instruments, for up to 20 participants. Additional participants beyond 20 are $100 each. CEI provides all support materials, debriefing, and audiovisual materials. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Workshop typically lasts 5 hours.
